Dec 10, 2016·You’ll find that if you want to freeze dry things like whole pork chops or chicken breasts etc, it’s best to freeze dry them raw. They will re-hydrate right back to meat market quality. Obviously you would have to cook / prepare to use but it will prevent shoe-leather meats like you get when trying to freeze dry thicker cooked meats.
